Whether it’s sports or work, the teams we are part of are important places to work on both mental and physical wellbeing.
Since I first started working with companies the corporate wellbeing industry has exploded. We are all more aware now of the importance of a wellbeing strategy that tackles it all, mental, emotional, physical, financial and social.
My interest in helping people improve their work life is because I know what it’s like for your job to wear you down, to the point of being unhappy in your personal life and you have no idea why. It’s happened to me in both PAYE and self employed roles.
Why? Well whilst working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress, working hard for something we love (often what us self employed people are doing) is called passion. The reality is that your body doesn’t know the difference!
Whilst I can’t come in and change your job, make your boss a nicer person, take your workload away, I can help you deal with how you feel about yourself, how you approach stress and workload, how you find space in the busiest days. Because happiness is an inside job.
